Ole Huckleberry

I am not going to do a book review here since this was the book we picked for the Salon, but let me just say that I have now just read the Adventures of Huckeberry Finn and I loved it so much, that I went back and read it again (right after I went and read Tom Sawyer) so that I read it twice in one week.

Man oh man! I love Huckelberry Finn! I mean I love him, I love the story, I love everything about it and I’ll be damned if I don’t want to make a raft and just dangle my feet over the side and float down the river. Gosh, I tell ya, Gus reminds me of Huckeberry Finn. And by golly, the whole danged story is just blooming perfect.

I can’t wait to talk about it at the Salon!
